The Karma Kamtsang Buddhist Association gathers practitioners of Tibetan Buddhism of Karma Kamtsang tradition, known also under the name Karma Kagyu. The highest spiritual authority of the school is His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa. The Karma Kamtsang tradition was widespread in Tibet and represented by many monasteries. Our Association is under direct guidance of the Benchen Monastery and its abbots, His Eminence Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche and Most Venerable Tenga Rinpoche, being among most eminent Lamas of the Karma Kamtsang school.The Karma Kamtsang Buddhist Association is one of the founding members of The Polish Buddhist Union under the patronage of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
The main centre of the Association is situated in Grabnik, in the neighbourhood of Warsaw.
There are also centres in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Cracow, Poznan, Torun, Rzeszow, Bielsko-Biala and informal groups of practitioners in other cities.
