Saturday at 10:00 a.m. - the Prajna Paramita empowerment (only for those who have taken Refuge in the Three Jewels);
The Heart Sutra is known to be the essence of all mahajana practices and of the second turning of the Wheel of Dharma. Buddha said, that anyone who understands this Sutra, will understand all teachings. Prajna Paramita is known in all mahajana buddhist traditions. It is recited on many occasions, also to eliminate obstacles and to cleanse broken vows.
The tantric form of Prajna Paramita is known in Tibetan as Yum Chenmo, which means "The Great Mother". Whoever becomes Buddha, attains Enlightenment through fulfilling the Perfect Wisdom - Prajna Paramita. For this reason it is called "The Mother of All Buddhas". This female form of Sambhogakaya is yellow, has one face and four arms. Meditating and repeating her mantra brings blessings, which clear and enable the mind to grasp the essence of the teachings on emptiness.
